EB-5 applicants who are on current US visas can concurrently file an Adjustment of Status at the same time as their EB-5 petition. This will allow them to receive EAD ("Employment Authorization Document") in as little as 3 months, thereby providing a viable solution to US visa holders looking for an option that is not dependent on a sponsoring employer.
